Mrs. Andrea Rechek joined the teaching staff in the
fall of 2014 as the Preschool and 4K teacher here at SKDS.
Previously she taught 4K for three years. Mrs. Rechek is a 2010 graduate
from UW-Oshkosh, with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Mrs. Rechek loves working with
children at the primary level and especially enjoys watching as the
children develop in their own way throughout the school year. Mrs.
Rechek states that, “Each child is a unique gift from God who makes
their own special contribution to our class. Some children bring their
laughter, others bring their kind words, and some bring new knowledge.
When we put these gifts together, that is what makes our class a whole.”
Apart from teaching, Mrs. Rechek
and her husband have two daughters. She loves spending time with her family whether it be
baking, spending time outside, going to demolition derby’s, and
especially cuddling up to read books.
Mrs. Rechek’s favorite quote
is, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
She believes that “God has a
plan for each one of us and no matter how hard, frustrating, or crazy
something may seem, God has a purpose.”
