For Parents
Parents are a
child's first and most important teachers.
At St.
Katharine Drexel School, we believe
successful student learning involves a partnership between parents and
teachers. Parental involvement in a child’s education is not only
encouraged, but expected at St. Katharine Drexel School. Our parents
help expand the learning that happens in the classroom to include its application
outside of school.
The quality of our
school is largely due to the contributions of our parents and their
volunteerism. By sharing their time, talents and resources, our parents
strengthen the St. Katharine Drexel Team.
To the left under
Volunteering,
you will find a wide array of volunteer opportunities available to
parents. Are you looking to meet other parents and really make a
difference in our school? You may want to join the Home & School Association, Band
Guild or Athletic Association. Would you rather help out in the
academic areas of the school? You may choose to help out in the
library or classroom or to work in the Learning Zone. These are
just a few of the many ways to volunteer at SKDS. If you have an
interest in a certain area, there is a volunteer opportunity at SKDS
that will fit your interest!
To volunteer or to
request information, contact the person(s) listed for each area of
interest to you. You may also contact either campus office. Thank you for your contribution and for helping us build
a brighter future for our students! |
